The Leila Rose Foundation is dedicated to assisting families affected by Rare Childhood Cancer.
We offer support and guidance to families when faced with the painful reality that little may be known about the cancer a ecting their child.

With possibly no known cure available, the foundation assists families so that they feel empowered to make informed choices about their child’s health.

Shaped by our own experience, we understand how disempowering it is to learn that a child has a rare cancer, how diffcult it is to deal with the shock of the diagnosis and the complexity of medical management. The ways that we help eligible families are:

  • Providing the resources of a dedicated Family Support Coordinator
  • Facilitating access to the latest diagnosis and treatment approaches through our global advisory network
  • Financial assistance

The Leila Rose Foundation works alongside the clinical care team to assist families of children diagnosed with rare childhood cancers. In doing so, we work in conjunction with clinicians, nursing staff and patient counsellors to ensure that the family feel supported, understand their options and are assisted with day-to-day activities in order to maximise the prospects for their child.
We do not diagnose or treat any illness or disease, and information provided by us is in no way a substitute for the medical advice of the child’s primary care physician or other medical professionals.

Donations can be using any major credit card.  Payments are processed securely by Paypal – no account is required.

Recurring donations require a Paypal account.   Your linked bank account will subsequently be deducted within 2 business days.  This allows our donors to control their payments.

The Leila Rose Foundation uses PayPal as the preferred payment platform as registered charities can benefit from reduced fees allowing more of your donations to directly help the lives of families affected by rare childhood cancers.

Offline donations may be made through the Donate page.  A confirmation email will be sent with offline donation options. A tax invoice will be provided on receipt of payment.

Tax invoices will automatically be sent on receipt of your donation.

For recurring donations, payment confirmations will be sent through paypal when donations are received. Annual donation summaries will be be sent in July for tax considerations.

For offline donations a tax invoice will be provided on receipt of payment.

If you do not receive a copy of payment receipt or you have any queries, email your request to help@leilarosefoundation.org and we will happily assist.

To cancel reoccurring donations with Leila Rose Foundation;

1. Login to your Paypal account www.paypal.com
2. Click the Settings icon next to “Log out.”
3. Click the Payments tab, then click Manage pre-aproved payments under “Pre-approved payments.”
4. Locate Leila Rose PTY LTD payment schedule you’d like to cancel, then click Cancel.
