‘The Leila Rose Foundation deems that information, distance and financial position should not be a barrier in the search for the best possible support and treatment for families of children diagnosed with rare cancer. The foundation seeks to bring support to families facing the painful reality that little may be known about the cancer affecting their child and the comfort of knowing that they are ‘doing all they can’.
The, ‘The All Stars Footy Game, is a new initiative for the LRF. The event is to be held on August 16th at the Friendly Society Park Warrnambool and will invite past local and AFL greats to participate in a challenge of footy fortitude while raising funds for the LRF. Varied entertainment will be incorporated into the day to make the event a fun family day out. Post game Q and A with a guest footy legends, entertainment and food and drinks available for purchase.
