Workplace Giving
to Leila Rose Foundation
Workplace giving is one of the best ways you can donate to the Leila Rose Foundation. It is easy to set up, allows you to give more for less and makes a real difference to the lives of children and families affected by rare cancers.
Workplace Giving is a joint relationship between employers, employees and charities. Individuals contribute a small portion of their pre-tax salary to charity and receive the tax benefit straight away rather than waiting until the end of financial year.
Companies can amplify their Workplace Giving Program by matching employees’ donations – meaning charities have the opportunity to receive more!
The Leila Rose Foundation is a registered charity of the Good2Give. Good2Give works directly with companies and payroll departments to establish a program that meets business objectives and advises companies on the best ways to promote it to encourage employee participation. STEP 1
Contact your employer payroll department – If your workplace has a giving program in place, they should have a standard form for you to fill in. Alternatively, if your workplace uses the Good2Give Workplace Giving platform, you can simply request your login details to set up your donations online.
STEP 2
Matched giving is double the joy! Ask if your employer will match your contribution. Many employers choose to support registered charities by dollar matching donations, increasing your combined impact on the community.
STEP 3
Nominate the Leila Rose Foundation and your monthly donation amount. Donating via workplace giving provides an immediate tax benefit by reducing your taxable income, and it’s all recorded on your pay slip. No receipts necessary. Simple!
