The biggest benefit to us from the Leila Rose Foundation was the opportunity to explore the second opinion offered from the Best Doctors program. It wasn’t something we were aware of, or was financially possible but with the support and financial assistance of the Foundation we were able to go down this path and receive reports from American specialists who had viewed Finn’s case.
Being such a rare cancer & not having answers even now, 4yrs in, is hard.
It’s reassuring to know we are not alone, and we’ve got amazing support behind us with people like Tracy, Gemma, now Susie & everyone that works behind the scenes for Leila Rose, among many others.
